Welcome back for another exciting year at R.C. LaPerche Elementary School. The start of the school year marks the beginning of our annual PTA membership drive. Parents, guardians, faculty and staff are encouraged to join the PTA – everyone is welcome! Membership provides the opportunity for you to share your ideas, volunteer at events and help make this school a great place to learn for your child(ren). No matter how much or little time you have to offer, the PTA welcomes, encourages and needs your participation.

Who can join?  Any parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or other relative who supports the successful education of a student at R.C. LaPerche School is invited to join the PTA.

The PTA sponsors and provides financial assistance in support of school-wide events and activities such as Reading Week, Field Day, the Thanksgiving Feast and busses for field trips. Playground maintenance and replacement of worn out or damaged equipment is also provided by the PTA, as well as refreshments for school wide events. The PTA sponsored After-School Enrichment Program (LEAP) is set to begin soon and our annual Family Hay Ride will take place in early October. These are just a few of the many PTA activities.

The cost of membership is only $6.00 per person with a portion covering R.C. LaPerche PTA’s membership in the State and National PTA and insurance for the PTA. We hope that you take this opportunity to join and become personally involved in your child’s education.

Please complete the form below and return it to school with payment; please indicate “PTA membership” on the envelope. You may also return the form to Justine Sands, Membership Coordinator, through the school office with an envelope marked ‘PTA Membership.’
